Introduction

Sadberge Village Hall is run by the Sadberge Village Hall Association (SVHA),
which is a registered charity.

Sadberge Village Hall Association was formed in 1967. Its constitution
states that "The purpose of the Sadberge Village Hall Association is to
manage the village hall and to provide social and community activities for the
residents of Sadberge and the immediately surrounding neighbourhood".

Membership of Sadberge Village Hall Association is open to residents of
Sadberge and the surrounding area. Membership costs just £2 per year,
and members can hire the hall facilities at discounted rates.

SVHA Management Committee

The SVHA Management Committee meets about ten times a year, generally on
Wednesday evenings. If you live in or near Sadberge and would be
interested in joining the Committee then please contact Alastair Mackenzie
(01325-333333) or any Committee member.

Finances

The income from hiring out the hall, fund-raising functions and
membership fees generally covers the day-to-day costs of running the village
hall, including on-going minor maintenance, but cannot pay for the
refurbishment and larger maintenance projects needed to keep the hall in good
condition. These projects rely on grants and donations.

Please note that the income from fund-raising functions depends on a lot of
work by volunteers, and we could really do with some more help! If you
would be prepared to help out on an occasional basis then please contact any
member of the SVHA Committee.
